Francesc Escribano ha iniziato la sua carriera televisiva alla Televisión Española (TVE) e più tardi è passato a TV3-Televisió de Catalunya. Lì ha fatto parte del team originale per il programma documentaristico 30 minuts, in cui ha lavorato per 8 anni, per poi diventare creatore e direttore dei programmi di TV3 come : Ciutadans, El cangur, Les coses com són, Generació D, Vides privades, Bellvitge Hospital, Veterinaris, Jutjats e Dies de transició.
Attualmente è Direttore Generale nella casa di produzione MINORIA ABSOLUTA dove, tra gli altri progetti, è stato anche produttore esecutivo per serie e film TV.

He started at Televisión Española (TVE) and later joined TV3-Televisió de Catalunya. There he was part of the original team for the documentary programme 30 minuts, where he worked for 8 years, later becoming the creator and director of TV3 programmes such as: Ciutadans, El cangur, Les coses com són, Generació D, Vides privades, Bellvitge Hospital, Veterinaris, Jutjats and Dies de transició.
He is currently the production director at the MINORIA ABSOLUTA production company where, amongst many other projects, he has been the executive producer for the documentary series Divided Spain, the Civil War in Colour, as well as the docufictions Suñol, un crit valent, Buscando a Cervantes, Buscando a Agirre and the TV movie Cervantes contra Lope.
