Head of Scripted – Endemol Shine Italy
Benedetta Galbiati was graduated in Communication Sciences in Bologna at the chair of Umberto Eco.
She began her professional career in the television sector as an analyst of content and fiction trends within the Mediaset International TV Observatory.
In 2003 she began her relationship with Endemol Italia as a consultant for the acquisition of scripted formats.
In 2004 she became Head of Scripted Acquisitions and Assistant of the Head of Fiction, starting to deal also
with production; she was a story-editor of sitcoms, at first, and then of prime-time series produced for Rai and
Mediaset.
In 2018 she was appointed Head of Fiction of Endemol Shine Italy.
