Showrunner, Narcos e Godfather of Harlem

Chris Brancato ha scritto e prodotto oltre 250 ore per la televisione, comprese serie come X-Files, Law and Order: Criminal Intent ed Hannibal e ha co-ideato la serie Netflix Narcos. Ha inoltre scritto il celebre lungometraggio per la MGM Hoodlum con Lawrence Fishburne, il thriller di fantascienza Species II e Sherlock 3 per Warner Brothers di prossima uscita. Attualmente, è co-ideatore e showrunner della serie Godfather of Harlem con Forest Whitaker in onda nell’autunno del 2019 su Epix.

Ha vinto il premio Peabody (Boomtown), due premi Saturn (Hannibal) e un premio del Writer’s Guild per il suo lavoro su ‘Una delle Cento Migliori Serie Televisive’ (X-Files), oltre ad aver ottenuto candidature ai Golden Globe ed ai BAFTA (Narcos). Chris Brancato has written and produced over 200 hours of television, including such series as “X-Files,” “Law and Order: Criminal Intent,” and “Hannibal,” and co-created the Netflix series “Narcos.”  In addition, Chris wrote and co-produced MGM’s popular gangster feature “Hoodlum,” starring Lawrence Fishburne, the sci-fi thriller “Species II” and executive produced the comedy feature “Stealing Harvard”.

He’s won the Peabody award (“Boomtown”), two Saturn awards (“Hannibal”), Golden Globes and BAFTA nominations (“Narcos”) and a Writer’s Guild award for his work on one of the Hundred Best Television Series (“X-Files”).  From 2006 to 2011 he was President of the Writers Guild Foundation. He works closely with Autism Speaks and other charities.
