Come MD UK di Fox Networks Group (FNG), Jeff Ford è responsabile per l’orientamento e lo sviluppo strategico dei canali UK di FNG,inclusi FOX, National Geographic, Nat Geo WILD e Baby TV; seleziona inoltre le attività commerciali di National Geographic Partners nel Regno Unito.

Ford è inoltre incaricato dello sviluppo e della produzione di programmi d’intrattenimento originali e distintivi per il marchio europeo di FNG, incluso il primo incarico realizzato a livello europeo Deep State, attualmente in produzione e che verrà trasmesso in 50 paesi nellaprimavera 2018.

La carriera di Ford copre 40 anni, durante i quali ha assunto posizioni di rilievo in diverse emittenti televisive commerciali. Prima di arrivare a FNG nell’aprile 2015, Ford era Director of Content per la rete irlandese TV3 e responsabile della strategia e produzione dei contenuti. Ancora prima, era Director of Programmes di Channel 5, rinvigorendo Big Brother e lanciando 5 USA; Director of Acquisitions di Channel 4, acquistando Ugly Betty e The Big Bang Theory, e infine Controller, Network Acquisitions   per ITV Network Centre.

Ford è inoltre membro dell’Advisory Committee  dell’Edinburgh International Television Festival.

As the UK MD, FNG Jeff Ford is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the UK FNG channel brands including FOX, National Geographic, Nat Geo WILD and Baby TV as well as select National Geographic Partners commercial activities in the UK.

Ford also has responsibility for developing and producing distinctive bold, original scripted entertainment for the FNG Europe brand, including the first regionally scripted commission Deep State, currently in production and will air in over 50 territories in Spring 2018.

Ford’s career spans 40 years, holding senior positions in a variety of commercial Television networks. Previous to joining FNG in April 2015 Ford was Director of Content for the Irish network TV3, responsible for content strategy and output. Prior to this, Ford’s roles included Director of Programmes at Channel 5, re-establishing Big Brother and launching 5 USA, Director of Acquisitions at Channel 4 acquiring Ugly Betty and The Big Bang Theory and Controller, Network Acquisitions for ITV Network Centre.

Ford also serves as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Edinburgh International Television Festival.
