Company track record: Created in Strasbourg in 2002, SEPPIA is mainly specialized in the production of scientific, cultural, historical and social films, for international TVs, cinema or new supports (Internet, smartphones, DVD…). More than 100 hours of programs had already been produced. Several films were sold internationally and selected in prestigious festivals (Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes, IDFA, Prix Europa, Silverdocs Film Festival in Washington…).
Thus Seppia is managing other complementary activities: the production of TV magazines and transmedia programs for new medias. The company is also specialized in dubbing and subtitling films into several languages, and in the image and sound post-production of films of international standards.
Short Biography: Cedric Bonin is graduated from ESC Montpellier. He worked as a production assistant for the company Ex- Nihilo and the distribution company Doc and Co. He was coordinator for the Masterclass Workshop: training program for producers between Femis and Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg. Since 2002, he is co-manager of Seppia, with Pascaline Geoffroy. He’s been developing documentaries, TV magazines, transmedia projects and many of them as international co-productions. Graduated from Eurodoc and EAVE, he is also a member of EDN, Science and Television, the Syndicat des Producteurs Indépendants and of the Association of Producers in Alsace.
