Paolo Marzano is a Partner of Legance – Avvocati Associati’, where he heads the IP department.
An expert of IP law, and in particular, of copyright, entertainment, design and fashion law, Paolo, since 2010, is the Chairman of the Permanent Advisory Committee for Copyright at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
In 1996, Paolo achieved a Master of Laws at the Columbia Law School of New York, where he is a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
He is a member of: the Copyright Society of the U.S.A., New York Chapter, the International Trademark Association – a member of the INTA’s Copyright Committee and the Chairman of Design as Applied Art and Music Subcommittee; the Executive Committee of the ALAI, i.e., the Association Litteraire et Artistique Internationale.
Paolo is the Co-Director of the oldest Italian Copyright Law Review, ‘Il Diritto d’Autore’ and Professor of Intellectual Property Law at the University LUISS Guido Carli of Rome.
