Vice-President – CELLULOID DREAMS
Charlotte Mickie was appointed Vice-President of Celluloid Dreams in August 2017. Celluloid dreams has been at the forefront of international sales, production, and financing of quality independent films for more than 30 years. Its ‘Directors Label’ stands for the discovery and subsequent promotion of the most important, awarded and respected film directors of our times, the ‘future classics’.
Mickie was most recently the President of International Sales at Mongrel Media, a division she launched in 2014 with sales on Aisling Walsh’s Maudie starring Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawke. The movie sold world-wide, was just released by SPC in the United States and is on numerous short-lists for Academy Award consideration. Under Mickie’s direction, Mongrel has handled international rights on other critically acclaimed films, including Ira Sachs’ Little Men (US distribution Magnolia), Anna Rose Holmer’s The Fits (US distribution Oscilloscope), Joshua Z Weinstein’s Menashe (US distribution A24) and Eliza Hittman’s Beach Rat (US distribution Neon).
