Producer – Bandidos Yanquis
Todd Berger is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of professional experience in Media and Entertainment. He’s currently CEO of NY based production company Bandidos Yanquis. In television, he recently wrapped production of Season 3 of “Wynonna Earp” for Syfy, Bell and Netflix, and the series has been picked up for a fourth and fifth season, and will start production in January 2019. He is currently post-production on a new 13-episode series for ABC, RTL and France TV called “Take Two”, a one hour drama series from the creators of the hit series “Castle” and German production company Tandem. He’s in production on “Diggstown” a 6×60 drama series for CBC and eOne that is filming in Nova Scotia. He’s closing financing on new UK series “Miss Scarlet and The Duke” for A&E International that will start pre-production in Northern Ireland in January 2019. He’s also closing financing on a 13 episode kids live action series “Strange Circuits”, a Canada-France co-production that will start filming in early 2019. On the film side, Todd is Executive Producing “Percy vs Monsanto” starring Christopher Walken and Christina Ricci, currently filming in Winnipeg. He’s casting “The Last Victim”, a new thriller / suspense that will film in Utah or Alberta this winter, and he’s closing financing for “Cold”, another thriller / suspense that will film in Alberta or BC this winter. He’s also developing with 87 Films in the UK “The Man Who Broke Into Auschwitz” which has Tom Wilkinson attached. And he’s in negotiations with a UK financier for SUCKERS, a horror / comedy from UK writer James Moran. Prior to this, Todd was founder and CEO of Creative Media, a consulting agency that represented brands, content companies, distributors and financiers. Creative Media worked in all areas of media and entertainment including film, television, digital, branded content, gaming, theatrical and music. Creative Media represented companies including DIRECTV, Ogilvy Entertainment, IFC, Sundance Channel, AMC Networks, Relevent, Skechers Entertainment, Skype, Leftfield Pictures, Araca, Picture Shack, Ketchum Labs, Tricon Films, and others. Creative Media worked with its clients helping them better understand the international marketplace, and had offices in LA and London. Before forming Creative Media, Todd was Head of Television for Circle of Confusion, a management and production company (“The Walking Dead”) based in Los Angeles. He helped launch the company’s television business and negotiated an overall deal for the company with Paramount Television. He was responsible for identifying, developing, and selling television projects for the company to both broadcast and cable networks. Todd also spent over 10 years as an agent at the William Morris Agency, representing actors, writers, directors and producers, and also worked closely with the agency’s corporate consulting and music divisions. He represented numerous artists including Brad Garrett, Bryan Singer, Jon Turteltaub, Lauren Shuler Donner, Fred Barron, Clyde Phillips, Al Gough & Miles Millar, Brad Silberling, Joe Berlinger, Jerry Garcia, Perry Farrell, The Neville Brothers, as well as companies Clear Channel, Amp’d Mobile, General Motors, Anheuser Busch, and others. He helped package and sell many shows including “Til Death”, “Jericho”, and “Robot Chicken”. Todd has organized three fundraisers called Jam for the Kids to benefit The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp, which was founded by Paul Newman to give seriously ill children an opportunity to attend camp free of charge, and to “raise a little hell”. He is working on the next benefit for Spring 2019 in NY. Todd lives in New York and has a B.A. from Temple University in Philadelphia.
