Head of Scripted Production – Sky Italia
Sonia Rovai was born in Milan in 1975 and has been working in the audiovisual sector for over 20 years. She began his career while studying at university, working on entertainment shows for R.T.I. and participating in the launch of some of the most popular international formats that took place in Italy around year 2000, such as Who Wants to Be a Billionaire and The Big Brother.
In 2004 she arrived at La7 where he worked in the team of L’infedele, a factual led by Gad Lerner, shifting her focus to current events, and political and cultural analysis. She left network tv to join Sky 10 years ago, coordinating the upcoming creative department of the Cinema channels, then becoming Head of Production Services, entrusted to supervise projects and contracts of all original Sky productions.
She is currently Head of Scripted Production. Among her most innovative shows, Gomorra, The Young Pope, the trilogy 1992/1993/1994 and Il Miracolo.
