CEO Palomar

Nicola Serra is CEO and partner of Palomar, of the oldest Italian television and cinema production companies, a market leader in Italy in the drama sector for the main TV networks. Since its inception, Palomar has worked across the range in television and cinema, producing dramas, docudramas, movies, information programs and entertainment. So far, more than 100 productions have been completed and distributed, providing some of the most successful prime time TV dramas of the last ten years. He worked as a producer on many productions both in TV and feature films and currently overseeing the international slate of Palomar’s production. Some of his main works for TV are: “Young Montalbano”, “Red Band Society”, “Murders at Barlume” and “Maltese”. He’s currently involved in the production of three new international productions: “Gaddafi”, about the life of the Libyan dictator, “The Name of the Rose”, from the novel of Umberto Eco with the same name, “That Dirty Black Bag” an original production. His latest feature film productions are “Piuma” by Roan Johnson, “Tarde Para la Ira” di Raul Arevalo and “The Happy Prince” the Rupert Everett’s directorial debut; he is currently producing “La Paranza dei Bambini” from the novel of Roberto Saviano directed by Claudio Giovannesi and “Volevo Nascondermi” by Giorgio Diritti.
