Domenico Procacci’s Fandango began in 1989. Since then, it has created more than 100 films, participating in a number of festivals and winning various prizes, including two Grand Prix awards at the Cannes Film Festival for Gomorrah and Reality, both directed by Matteo Garrone. Nanni Moretti, Paolo Sorrentino, Michelangelo Antonioni, Emir Kusturica, Rolf De Heer, Milcho Mancevski, Emanuele Crialese, Richard Lowenstein, Gabriele Muccino, Francesca Comencini, Daniele Vicari, Luciano Ligabue, Ferzan Ozpetek, Susanna Nicchiarelli, François Girard, Tim Roth and Richard J. Lewis are some of the directors with whom Fandango has worked throughout the years. With Fandango TV, Domenico Procacci produced the television shows Parla Con Me, The Show Must Go Off, Gazebo and Propaganda Live, the mini-series L’Oriana and Limbo, the series Gomorrah, co-produced withCattleya and Sky, now in its fourth season, and My brilliant friend, an HBO-RAI series co-produced with Wildside and based on the books by Elena Ferrante. Currently in development are the TV series Q based on the best-selling novel by Wu-Ming (Luther Blissett), with Sky; L’Alligatore, based on the crime book series by Massimo Carlotto, with Rai Fiction; and Luna Nera, with Netflix.
Fandango is also a publishing company (Fandango Libri ), a music label (Radiofandango), a film distribution and an international sales company.
