Chiara Salvo studied in the U.S.A. and started her career there as a freelance writer and director. When she went back to Italy, she created TV formats for Mediaset and Magnolia for 20 years before starting her own company: Kimera Produzioni. A place where young and dynamic writers, directors and producers share their ideas and skills to create original TV formats.
Thanks to Kimera, Chiara has achieved her ambition to combine entertainment and social communication: she has produced TV formats telling stories that break taboos and create campaigns of solidarity (e.g. Il Miglio Verde, on the death penalty, Mamma Ho Perso l’aereo, on international adoptions, La Classe, on school distress, and Kemio Amiche, on the fight against breast cancer).
