Job Description: I am the responsible and the artistic director of the Sky theatrical productions on art, produced with the most innovative and advanced film technologies: 3D, 4K HDR and Virtual Reality 360°
Strand Profile: My work is focused on the creation, production and distribution of theatrical movies on Italian art realized with the most advanced film technologies, in order to experiment and emphasize the art experience through all the technology opportunities available. The last achievement in terms of most advanced technology put at the service of art is the Virtual Reality 360°.
Themes: Concerning to the Virtual Reality 360°, we have produced, with Untold Games and in collaboration with the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel – an incredible virtual reality 360° experience on the occasion of the production of the art-movie Raphael – the Lord of the Arts. Together with Sky UK VR team we also produced the VR backstage of Raphael fiction scenes. On the occasion of the art-movie on St. Peter’s and the Basilicas we realized with FidoGroup and in collaboration with the Vatican Television Centre a VR APP moving through the four papal basilicas of Rome.
Main activities: My main activities are coproductions, commissions and distribution.
Please mention some latest titles that you have coproduced / scheduled and that you’re particularly proud of: Theatrical film-documentaries in 3D and 4K: Raphael, The Lord of the Arts, Florence and the Uffizi Gallery, St. Peter’s and the Basilicas of Rome, The Vatican Museums. VR productions: The Sistine Chapel, an Incredibile Virtual Reality Experience, St. Peter’s and the Basilicas of Rome.
What I’m mainly looking for at MIA DOC: coproductions and international distributions of our theatrical film-documentaries on Art in 4K and Virtual Reality.
