Award-winning television executive, Courtney Conte is one of the industry’s most sought-after executives in both scripted and unscripted programming. He has developed and produced television series for Universal, Disney, Warner Brothers, Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS, UPN, The WB, BBC, HBO, Showtime, Nickelodeon and Lifetime. Conte has been honored for his excellence with a Cable Ace Award, Golden Globe and several Emmy nominations.
Conte’s hugely successful career started when he served as a producer for Carsey-Werner Productions. Courtney was soon appointed Vice President of Production and eventually, Co-President. In 2010, Conte was recruited by BBC Worldwide Productions as Chief Operating Officer. Courtney develops and managed its business strategy as he oversees production management, operations and administration for both BBC Worldwide Productions and Adjacent Productions’ scripted and unscripted domestic and international programming.
In May 2016 Conte joined Slingshot Global Media as President.
In July of 2107, Conte was named President and COO of Platform One Media, a global television production and distribution studio . The studio will be majority owned by Evolution Media, TPG Growth’s investment partnership with CAA and Participant Media, with Liberty Global taking a minority equity stake.
Courtney is a member of The Director’s Guild of America, The Producer’s Guild of America as well as The Television Academy.
