Laura Tassinari Zugni Tauro, engineer, married with two children has worked and collaborated with the highest profile ICT and TLC multinationals. She is currently Director of the Internationalization, Clusters and Research Area at Lazio Innova Spa.
As a marketing and ICT expert first, and subsequently as general director, Laura Tassinari has collaborated since 2000 with local agencies supporting innovation, finance and startups of Regione Lazio, the regional government authority of Rome. She has followed the planning and implementation of the most important initiatives promoting the creation and development of advanced tech SMEs and startups, as well as the development of Regione Lazio’s innovation projects. She has designed and implemented a wide range of initiatives for technology transfer, spin-offs and startups aimed at bringing the worlds of research, enterprise and finance closer together.
She shaped, promoted and implemented the new regional policy called “Spazio Attivo”, aimed at updating the services (including FabLabs and social innovation) and programs offered (including talent working spaces and acceleration of startups) in its 10 incubators in support of prospective entrepreneurs, with a special focus on its impact on opportunities for citizens. She has moved onto as Director of the Internationalisation, Clusters and Research promoting local government policies in support of enterprises’ export and international exposure as well as the development of community building tools and services.
