Jaime Ondarza, Executive Vice President and General Manager South Hub | ViacomCBS EMEEA
Born in Rome from an Italian mother and Bolivian father, Jaime Ondarza is between the most experienced and prominent managers in the global Media&Entertainment business, with particular expertise on kids’ audience. With more than 22 years of international experience, in 2020 he joins ViacomCBS to lead the new South Hub – with responsibilities over Italy, Iberia, France, Middle East, Greece, and Turkey.
Before this designation, Jaime has covered long-standing executive positions in Warner Media and Boing, Mediaset and Warner Media’s JV, contributing to achieving cardinal goals for the company, with a great transformational impact for the international Media industry. In addition to founding the first commercial channel FTA for kids on digital TVs all over the world, Ondarza launched Boing’s app, the first AVOD streaming service by Warner Media designed for families and kids.
Jaime has a wide knowledge of the commercial and editorial landscape and a strong experience in managing different markets in the Media&Entertainment industry.
